Monday lyrics (26/12/11)

Jesus Messiah by Chris Tomlin

He became sin
Who knew no sin
That we might become His Righteousness
He humbled himself and carried the cross

Love so amazing
Love so amazing

Chorus:
Jesus Messiah
Name above all names
Blessed Redeemer
Emmanuel
The rescue for sinners
The ransom from Heaven
Jesus Messiah
Lord of all

His body the bread
His blood the wine
Broken and poured out all for love
The whole earth trembled
And the veil was torn

Love so amazing
Love so amazing, yeah

Chorus:
Jesus Messiah
Name above all names
Blessed Redeemer

Emmanuel
The rescue for sinners
The ransom from Heaven
Jesus Messiah
Lord of all

All our hope is in You
All our hope is in You
All the glory to You, God
The light of the world

Chorus:
Jesus Messiah
Name above all names
Blessed Redeemer
Emmanuel
The rescue for sinners
The ransom from Heaven
Jesus Messiah
Lord of all

 - I love this song and it's been stuck in my head ever since i earned last week in our church choir, were gonna be singing it at church next Sunday for New years day (8) I cant stop listening to it, it's really addictive but it's a good thing to be addicted, it's not a bad thing at all, I'm singing it in my head right now!
I don't normally listen to any of Chris Tomlin's music, no disrespect to him but it's not really my type of music, until i heard this song and oh . my . word, i instantly loved it, amazing lyrics, love the tune and it sound even better with our church choir - not to brag, but it does, just saying! ;)

I've just been listening to and watching the youtube video of it, you wanna watch it or listen to it? Here it is.

......and now i'll leave you with a quote - - -

“I will rise when he calls my name, no more sorrow, no more pain, I will rise on eagles wings before my God; fall on my knees, and rise, I will rise.”
― Chris Tomlin
