This is Christmas

Today I wrote a song with my friend about how God gave his all for us, though we are not perfect or worthy, but God still gave it all for his because he loves us so much. Yeh, t'was an awesome moment.

I seem to be really cold lately, well, it is December, i'm just waiting for the snow now, which will erm, be even colder....but, it will feel even more Christmassy! So that's good.

 

Lately, i've been thinking about how much i love those few people who i hold close to me, my family and a handful of other people. Of course i love everybody, but there's some people who mean a lot to me, who i can trust and feel happy being with and those people who pray with me and encourage me and make me laugh and make me cups of tea and listen to music with me. I love all that stuff and i love those people.

 

This week is gonna be full of seeing family and friends, wrapping gifts, playing Christmas songs repeatedly, getting all my college work done before I finish on Friday (yay!), and trying to glorify God in anyway I can.

 

We have a saviour - go listen. :-)

My awesome friend gave me an award, in fact an inspiring blogger award, my days, thank you Rebekah! It's certainly given me another reason to smile, so thats good.

1. I have a slight obsession with Jamaica, no idea why, i just do, lol.

2. I love all things Narnia, i know i  have *kinda* mentioned this before but i havent fully expressed my love for Narnia! It looks like an amazing place, that i am still trying to find but havent quite succeeded in doing so... yet! 

3. A lot of my blogging ideas come from photos from We Heart it. 

4. I share a blog with some other girls from my church, that we all write on, its called WILD and it's a bit random really but you should definitely check it out! :-P

5. I love listening to worship, like real worship, with true meaningful words that are sang from the heart. Where the instruments and the vocals are lead my the Holy Spirit, its so amazing!

6. I used to play the flute and still can a little but not very often really just when i feel like it.

7. I used to be really self concious about the way i look and what other people thought of me, but i dont now, im free :-)

 I've spoke about this girl quite a few times in my posts before. She is quite new to the blogger world really but she's come so far so quick, her blog posts recently have really inspired me and helped me to look at life in a different way. She's beautiful, go check her out!

She is from the blog God's daughter, and she really is a daughter of God, you only have to read a few of her posts to see that! She is a big inspiration! Her love for God shines throughout her blog and she does some pretty cool photography too!

Well, ive been reading her blog The cupcake dictionary for quite a while now, she posts about so many different things, i love it, she writes really honestly about whats on her mind and her randomness is really cool! She inspires me to smile more and that its ok to be random.

Now this guy is good. He's writes really well and also very honestly and you always end up laughing after reading his posts, he says she funniest things! I enjoy reading his posts and when he writes about things God has been showing him, its good and makes me wanna share more about God.

Leslie Ludy

This lady, is a huge inspiration, she writes a lot about purity and living a life fully devoted to God, ive read a few of her books too, which are also inspiring, so i highly recommend them!

I really like reading her blog Come alive, its a blog about her creator and all that he's showing her and she just basically shares what God shows her, so its great :-)

Rebekah

Yeah i know she's already got the award off someone else and given it to me but i just gotta give it to her too! Because her blog does really inspire me! She writes about her life, revelations, struggles, awesomeness and more!

In great company

 

On Saturday me, Zsara, Hannah, Dan, Cassie, Zezi, Rebekah and Ken took part in a sponsored walk around Tittersworth Reservoir to raise money for Christian aid. I think it was about 5 miles. So we met at church at 9:00am and all climbed into the church mini-bus. 

 We got their around 9:30am Registration. The walk officially started at 10:00am. On we went. Woo. We had till 1:30pm to finish the walk, so plenty of time. Which meant we could stop and take as many photos as we wanted (awesome), stop for a drink of water/snack whenever, laugh and talk as much as we wanted. Super.

So we did, lots of pictures were taken, there was a whole lot of laughing and taking and singing going on. Yes singing. Lots of random singing. I even recorded/filmed some of the singing but i may not put it on here, its a little embarrassing and i dont know if the others would be so keen with me putting it on here. 

Yeah, we were tired and some of the up-hill walking could be a little hard but hey, it was all good fun and for a good cause, so it was definitely worth the, tiredness, sweat and aching legs and feet. :-P We stopped around half way at the dam for a quick snack and a drink. We all sat on the wall, legs swinging, rosy cheeks, worn out but still smiling. Rebekah took that opportunity to take some pics.... Thank you Rebekah! :-)(oh and the very first picture was also taken by Rebekah..awesome huh!? ;-)

So, a tiring day but we had perfect weather, we had great company, it was super fun and good exercise and between us we managed to raise around £500. Basically a day full of awesome-ness!

I was having a little 'issue' with a certain person i know.

Which upset me because she used to be a good friend, but i was trying to deal with it myself, instead of running to God and praying and trusting in him. 

 I tried to do it in my own strength. 

I now know that it was a stupid thing to do. I was stupid. So now...

I commit my way unto the LORD; i trust also in him; and i know that he shall bring it to pass.

Oh. The things you do when your bored.

After buying snacks and some other naughty but yummy treats, me and the two random tag-alongs...I mean um..the two lovely friends that accompanied me, snooke into church and went into the back baby room while some other people were having a prayer meeting in the main room(the room where the Sunday services and most of the meetings take place)
..we were cold..and hungry..and tired..

So we sat there with only some light coming from a little heater which we gathered around, just the three of us eating 'sensations' crisps..yumm!
And then we all felt a little bad about not joining the others in the prayer meeting, so we decided to have our own little prayer meeting, so we each prayed a little and then no one did, everyone stopped, we were all tired, there was silence.

I was looking around the room awkwardly, Rebekah kept her head down and Hannah stared at her feet.
We were bored, no idea what to do to entertain ourselves that wasn't messy and wouldn't make to much noise :S

So here's what happened next:

We all had our feet in front of the little electric heater.

Hannah- "Oh wow, that looks so nice"
Rebekah- "What does?"
Hannah- " Our feet"
Me- "Our feet? What do you mean?"
Hannah- "Look at our feet, dosnt that make a lovely picture?"
Me- "Ermmm?"
Hannah- "Yeah, with the light shining on our feet, it'd make a cool picture!!"
We all grinned knowingly and grabbed our bags and got out our phones to take 'some' snaps. ¦-)
