Smiling with dignity

Ooh, "She is clothed with dignity and strength.."

lets see a few other versions of the first part of that verse..

 "Strength and dignity are her clothing and her position is strong and secure.." (Amp)

"She is a strong person, and people respect her.." (Erv)

"Strength and honour are her clothing.." (Ceb)

I find it hard to ignore that all three of them versions mention strength/being strong. But wait, me, a girl, strong, strength, what?

Me: "Oh no no no!"

God: "Oh yes yes yes!"

hmm, lets think about that. Strength means..

moral power, firmness, courage, impregnability, durability.

Not necessarily physical strength, but being strong in different ways, not controlling but able to say what you think, not being pushed around, made to do what you dont want to do my manipulation. Standing up for yourself, standing strong when you go through hard times. Also being strong in the Lord, being strong in what you believe in. And dignity, 'Poise and self-respect, self-worth' 

The second half of the verse says. "..She can laugh at the days to come."

Wait, did that verse just say laugh..at the days to come? yes.

"..and she laughs without fear of the future." (Nlt)

"..and she shall rejoice in time to come." (Kjv)

"..and she always faces tomorrow with a smile. (Msg)

wow. I so wanna be that girl that is not only strong and dresses with dignity but also doesn't worry about the future, who actually laughs at the future. I really wanna be her!

God help me. 

Gosh ive got a long way to go and its certainly gonna take a while for me to be like that. But its my goal. Besides laughing is awesome. :-D

*deep breathe*

Ok i think im ready to carry on with my evening now, i just knew i had to do a post on here, as i clicked 'new post' i didnt have a clue what i was gonna blog about, but then i just found that verse, i dont think ive even seen it or heard it before.. oops.
